Our city has groan very fast in resent years & now in 1865, it has become a hard & time-cunsuming job to count all the peephill. Anuther atribeart needed for this job is gode spelling, for meny of the peephill to be counted kan hardle speek inglish, let alon spel there names." Having just completed proofing a Census transcription, I'm probably not finding this nearly as funny as I will in a few weeks, after this irritating twitch clears up.....but I thought some of you might enjoy it.
