Ms Queries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ms/Jefferson/10458 Surname: mc'coy, williams, wyatt, shaw, reed ------------------------- my father dave williams was born in jefferson county in 1900 his father was jimmie williams ,mother: clara, sisters: clara, and bertha lee, who was married to s.d. wyatt he frequented the Bottoms and/or adams bottoms, also the delta he had a daughter whom we didn't know well who at one time lived in ca., also an aunt caroline,who at one time lived on springfield plantation from about 1950-1956. his mother and father was buried at church hill, we also lived on springfield at about the same time for awhile my brother & i attended lidell elem school in 1955-56 my mother is flossie shaw, her father was pearlie euguene shaw ,her mother, susie reed, brother harry lee shaw, my mother's grandparents are frank reed and anna bell mc'coy, frank reed was born 1-18-1875-1-12-1967,his father was prentiss reed, mother mary lou reed, they were buried at gravel hill methodist church cementary,also lou mc'coy washington born 7-1-1887to 3-5-67, married to george washington born10-25-1888to 7-9-64, his father was george washingtin, sr married to josephine taylor of rodney, ms, anna bell mc'coy parents were hamp mc'coy and janie mc'coy. my father dave williams and mother eventually settled in clayton,la they are both deceased. if anyone have any additional information i would appreciate it very much
