    3. Hello All, Concerning the Whitfield grave desecration: If Dr. Reed is claiming we are harrassing him with the emails he has apparently gotten lately, maybe we should, instead, send masses of email on this subject to the Attorney General of the State of Mississippi. His address is: Mike Moore Office of the Attorney General P.O. Box 22947 Jackson, MS 39225-2947 Phone: (601) 359-4230 Email: [email protected] It seems that when you are dealing with irrational people as Dr. Reed seems to be, go over his head and deal with the higher-ups. 3. Everyone, I believe every person on this list has reason to be interested in the e-mail reply sent by Dr. Reed, to Lloyd Mullins, in response to a short, polite message Mr. Mullins sent regarding the graves on his (Dr. Reed's) property. It was forwarded to those of us on the list who had posted a message to Ann concerning the desecration. Unfortunately, I can't send it to the list.....Rootsweb doesn't allow the kind of language Dr. Reed used. And I would hesitate to send this message unsolicited to anyone who might have children with access to e-mail. There's some irony, isn't there, associated with the fact that I feel the need to protect young people from someone who is in a position of responsibility at a college? Now that I understand what Ann has been faced with, my regard for her has increased a hundred fold. Only someone very deeply committed to preserving history and furthering family research would have persevered, facing this kind of wrath. It's clear that Dr. Reed has no respect for either the dead or the living. I wonder if he knows where all of his g-grandparents are buried..... I think Barbara's suggestion about the Attorney General is great one. Maybe he could finally explain why a state law is being ignored. I would be very happy to send this message to anyone who would like to see it. But, I must warn you again, the language goes beyond anything you're probably imagining.
