I'm looking for a NANCY ANN WALKER who married AUSTIN JONES. NANCY was born in 1849 in Mississippi is all I know. AUSTIN was b. in 1839 and d. in 1908. He served in the 6th Ms. Infantry, CO. G of the Confederate Army. I don't know her parents, or his either. I pick up their story living in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. I heard NANCY was young when she died. AUSTIN and NANCY had at least 5 children: JOHNNY, HOMAH,FANNY, ROXIE, RENE. If anyone knows any info on NANCY or AUSTIN, I could sure use some help. Thanks. John Wilson

John - In summer 1860 Austin Jones was living in Copiah Co. (northeast neighbor of Jefferson.) Not found in Copiah 1850, so they must have moved from somewhere else. Poor folks, renters or sharecroppers. All except Drury Jones born MS.
