I've called both the Circuit Clerk and the Chancery Clerk and both offices say they don't have birth records, and couldn't give me any advice beyond directing me to the State Dept. of Health in Jackson, whose records I know don't go that far back. What office has birth records for Jefferson County before 1910, can anyone tell me? Thanks, -Alma ([email protected])
