There was the Chamberlain Sanitarium in Natchez, between the Eola Hotel and Franklin Street, which was used by paying customers and the Natchez Charity Hospital next to the Natchez City Cemetery on Cemetery Road for those who could not afford to pay. Later, probably around 1929, the Natchez General Hospital was constructed. Lots of people in the Jefferson and Franklin County areas also used the hospital in Vicksburg by choice. Perhaps some also used the King's Daughters hospital in Brookhaven. Tony Miller
