I am hoping that you can help me. My grandfather, Johnnie Winsted, was a former pastor at Sandy Springs Missionary Baptist Church. I think this church is in Itawamba County. We lost pawpaw to cancer in 1984. I have 2 children, a daughter who is 22 and a son who is 19. My daughter can remember pawpaw faintly, but my son never knew him. Recently he said that he wishes he could have heard pawpaw preach. I am trying to get in contact with someone who may have been going to Sandy Springs church during the time that pawpaw was pastor. Possibly they might have some tapes of some of his sermons. I am not sure where the church is located to go there and talk to people. I would love to be able to get in touch with someone that might could help me. Do you know anything about this church or possibly names of someone who attends?
