Itawamba County Times - Oct. 30, 1980 Benson Hodgin, 74, died at 6 a.m. Monday at Itawamba County Hospital after an extended illness. A resident of the Peaceful Valley Community, he was retired from Massey-Ferguson Corporation. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Services were held at 2 p.m. at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Riley officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery. Mr. Hodgin is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosalee Hodgin. They had been married 51 years. Other survivors include two brothers, Frank Hodgin and Cleburn Hodgin, both of Tishomingo, and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Deacher of Collinsville, Ill., and Mrs. Edith Berget of Missouri.
