He married Sarah Elizabeth Judith “Jude” Morris on July 25, 1876 in Itawamba County, Mississippi. She was born on September 30, 1859 in Mantachie in Itawamba County, Mississippi. She was the daughter of William J. Morris and Nancy W. Sneed. She died on September 24, 1880 and is buried in Cane Creek Cemetery near Warrior in Jefferson County, Alabama. James married Maryetta E. King on August 28, 1883 in Jefferson County, Alabama. She was born on October 11, 1865 and died on January 13, 1913. She is buried in Watts Union Cemetery near Warrior in Jefferson County, Alabama. James worked for the Union Coal Company in 1903 and was a councilman in 1905. He possessed a strong desire for his son, William, to get a good education. He died on September 25, 1918 in Warrior in Jefferson County, Alabama and is buried in Cane Creek Cemetery near Warrior. When he died the Beltona Coal Company employed him as a foreman. 11. The three children of James S. Morgan and Sarah Elizabeth Judith Morris are William T. Morgan and two infants who died shortly after birth. 11.1 William T. Morgan was born on August 12, 1877 in Mantachie, Itawamba County, Mississippi. The T. has been reported as Tigg or Tillman. He said the T. was for Thomas. William graduated from Blount College with a Master's Degree in Science when he was nineteen-years-old. Among other churches, he was pastor of a church in Crystal Springs, Florida. He was instrumental in developing programs for unemployed and starving miners around Warrior, Alabama that included classes to retrain workers, gardens to feed the hungry, a canning factory to provide work and many other programs designed to give dignity and hope in an otherwise hopeless situation. He married Sallie Claude Chadwick on February 21, 1896. 12.1 Mona Morgan, the daughter of William T. Morgan, and Sallie Claude Chadwick, was born on November 21, 1896. She married ___Gillespie. She died on December 31, 1993 in Boaz in Marshall County, Alabama. 11.1 William T. Morgan married Mary McCorkle Wilson on March 25, 1903 in East Tennessee. She was born in Salem, Virginia. 12. The two children of William T. Morgan, Sr., Mary McCorkle Wilson are William Thomas, Jr., Mildred Morgan. 12.2 William T. Morgan. Jr., born about 1904. 12.3 Mildred Morgan was born about 1906. 11.1 William T. , married Sarah Christine Bailey on April 8, 1933 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was born on September 9, 1912 in Hanceville in Cullman County, Alabama. Her parents were Jesse Lee Bailey, Sr., Emma Jane Howell. She died on March 9, 1984. She is buried in Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie in Delaware County, Indiana. She was a secretary. When he was seventy-five years old William attended Athens State College to polish his writing skills. He died on June 10, and is buried in Warrior Cemetery in Jefferson County, Alabama. God bless you, Betty
