    3. Itawamba County Times - May 16, 1990 Olen C. Sheffield, 79, died Sunday, May 13, at the Fulton Hospital. He was a member and deacon of Trinity Baptist Church where he was treasurer and Sunday school teacher for over 30 years. He was a retired employee of Northeast Production Credit and a member of the Fulton Lions Club. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion for 42 years and former board member of the Tombigbee Power Association. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Howard Peak officiating. Burial followed in the Itawamba Memorial Gardens. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Lottie Sheffield of Fulton; one daughter, Janet Flournoy of Fulton; two brothers, Orman Sheffield of Hopewell and J. V. Sheffield of Tupelo; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dick Senter, Holland Little, Milton Brown, Roy Sheffield, T.R. "Slick" Sheffield, Charlie McCarthy, Red Wiygul and Gwin Miller. Honorary pallbearers were members of his Sunday school class.
