    3. Hi Listers, Some years ago I was in Fulton, MS doing some research on my Dozier/Dodson/ Cooley lines and the public library had a copy of what I THINK is the book you are discussing. It is "Itawamba County, Mississippi Families (1836-1986) Sesquicentennial Edition". I made copies of the cover page and one page that included information on a line I discovered on that trip -- Fikes. The cover page states explicitly that only 513 copies were printed. I don't know if the library will allow it to be copied in full, but PERHAPS a local researcher would do lookups and mail copies for a fee????? Don, could you suggest a researcher? Someone earlier today mentioned reprints by Heritage Books. They have a web page, http://www.heritagebooks.com/ but doing a search for Itawamba did not get any hits. Another company that does superb quality reprints is Higginson Books -- http://www.higginsonbooks.com/ Higginson has several Mississippi books, but again, I didn't note any for Itawamba Co. I really like the layout of the Higginson site and they also have a large number of surname books, so some of you may want to check this out for your missing branches. Happy hunting. -- Diane Scannell Wichita, KS dscannell@kscable.com Rootsweb Sponsor and Proud Donor http://sikes-sykesfamilies.rootsweb.com http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~inthetrees/
