Since I first asked my quesion about Nancy P. Jackson who Married James Calvin Gilstrap, I have put together, from Secondary Sources, the following: 1 Thomas Jackson b: Abt. 1690 2 Isaac Jackson b: 1733 d: 1805 in Hancock, Georgia ... +Mary ______? 3 [1] Enoch Jackson b: in Hancock County, Georgia .... +[2] Nancy Moore b: 1770 d: November 1851 in Pontotoc Co., Ms. . 4 [3] Henry Jackson b: 1798 in Hancock County, Georgia d: 1844 ..... +[4] Mary ______? b: 1802 in Georgia d: 1853 .. 5 [5] Nancy P. Jackson b: October 28, 1830 in Georgia d: 1908 I have also found a book on www.genealogylibrary.com Genealogy of Wilkinson and Kindred Families which appears to connect the above Isaac Jackson, who appears to have been a Lt. Col. in the Revolutionary War, to William the Conqueror. Some of the dates do not quite match - but seem close enough - which along with places of birth - makes it look like a connection. Any thoughts on this connection would be appreciated. I like to construct my theory of a lineage and then set about proving it. If anyone has documentation on the Jacksons above, please contact me at pete@trip.net Pete Apple
