I don't know if they are related or not. All I know is, Ann "Babe" Elgar, claimed to have been born in MS, around 1853, married Thomas Franklin Belue in Lawrence Co. TN. She was supposed to be an orphan and lived with an aunt. She died of typhoid fever in AL in 1890. I have tried very hard to connect her to Lewis Elgar, Philander Elgar and the other MS Elgars with no results. However, since that is the only Elgars I can find in the South, I keep hoping. Do you know anything about her? Thanks.
