Don: Thanks for the info- I have in my possession the marriage licenses for Vona and W.M. Mann, Vona and T.F. McMullin and I also have Vona's death cert.; also have the cemetary lot bill of sale for W.M. Mann's cemetary plot and a small book that belonged to Mr. Mann concerning his work as a cotton picker in various states. Vona was born Feb. 22, 1896 in Fulton, MS- she married W.M. Mann June 21, 1913 in Lee Co.,MS- William died around Oct. 13, 1916 in Sterrett, Bryan Co.,OK- he is buried in the city cemetary there with a Woodsmen of the World tombstone. She returned to Mississippi after his death and then married Thomas Finch McMullin- b. May 24, 1884- d. May 16, 1954 in Ward Co.,TX- they were married on March 6, 1919. They lived in Memphis, TN before moving to Ward Co.,TX- their children were Harold, Sarah Margaret, Alfred Ray and twin Johnny Ray (he died as an infant) and Ralph Lee. Vona died in a walled-up tent on the present-day courthouse lawn on Dec. 27, 1938- she is buried at the Monahans Cemetary in Ward Co.,TX.
