I am looking for information on Donna Joan GRAY. She was born in 1875(?) in Red Bay, Franklin Co. AL., or Rara Avis,(which no longer exist), Itawamba Co., MS. She married Robert E. Lee HUGHES, born 1874. Donna's mother was Jane WRIGHT. Donna's father died and her mother married a (?) REED. D.J.GRAY HUGHES had a brother named Ruben (Rube) GRAY. Robert E. L. HUGHES and Ruben GRAY are supposed to be buried in the 'main' cemetery in Red Bay. Does anyone know if this cemetery is listed online? Donna and Robert HUGHES had 6 children: (1) James Gideon,m. Anna/Annie NIX of Red Bay. He is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham AL. (2)Lena Carleather (Cletha),m. George Samuel ROBINSON (3)Reba, m. Foster KILLINGSWORTH (4)Ruby, m. Booker GREGORY (5)Fanny,m. Golden BERRY (6)Nell,m. Marvin CURL Names of Gideon HUGHES and Annie's children: James Robert HUGHES who married Helen (?), from Indiana. James is supposedly still alive and lives in Red Bay? Names of Cletha and Sam ROBINSON's children: Billy Samuel ROBINSON, born July 11, 1918 in Rara Avis, Itawamba Co. MS. Names of Ruby and Booker GREGORY's children are : Roger Bobby, Edna Earl, m. Jimmy G. McCarley Names of Fannie and Golden BERRY's children: Belinda and Donna. Belinda married an ODUM, who was an insurance agent. He died and left that to her. She moved to Greenville, SC. Donna married a HINSON. I believe he was a Mormon, who was an Attorney General in Red Bay. They had about 4 children. One of them was handicapped. Donna accidently ran over one of them and killed them. And one of them (a boy?) was accidently shot and killed. Donna then moved to Utah? Name of Nell and Marvin CURL's children: Hollis CURL, m. Glenda and they live in Wilcox, Camden Co. AL.
