Father: ABSALOM GREEN; Born: 1804 in N.C. Mother: MARY ; Born 1806 in N.C. Notes: GID and SARAH owned a farm near Bexar, AL. They never had children and left their entire estate to a blind colored man by the name of JAMES ALVIS McCRAW who lived with them and took care of them. This was on condition that he stay and care for them as long as they lived. The will is on record in the Marion Co. AL courthouse. Also on record is a land deed that shows that shortly after Mr. GREEN'S death, that WILLIAM W. ROBINSON, SARAH's brother, acquired this property.
