Ms. MACKIE & FLORA are still living at this time, (1986). MACKIE is blind and lives at Red Bay, Franklin Co. AL. nursing home. FLORA lives at Sulligent, AL. MATTIE MARKS was born in 1885 and died in 1972; she married ARTHUR WELCH. MARY MACKIE ETNA MARKS was born Oct. 17, 1889 and she maried JOHN SMITH. They had four children. BEULAH MARKS was born in 1892 ans was killed in WW1. He never married. GROVER MARKS was born in 1896 and he maried RUBY McNEICE. They had eight children. FLORENCE (FLORA) MARKS was born Oct. 28, 1901 and married JESSIE WOOD FRYE. They had three children.
