Does anyone know of any descendants of William and Liddia VINSON? They were in Monroe Co in 1850 and Itawamba Co in 1860. I think they may be the parents of John H. VINSON, my g-g-grandfather. He married Naomi H.S. LONG, dgt of Darling and Temperance LONG, in Itawamba Co in 1855, but does not appear on the 1860 census with her. I have lots of Long information but know nothing of John Vinson except an unproven statement that his father was "Billy Vinson," and he married Naomi. Supposedly, John died in the Civil War but I can't find him on any Itawamba rosters. Thanks. Jo Carolyn
