Hi Don -- Actually I'm trying to find someone who remembers more headstones in that cemetery. I'm pretty sure Nancy Ross Works was buried there and maybe John W. Works, Eli's eldest son. In a rather long rambling lawsuit James Franklin Works filed against his brother John, at one point he talks about John dying. Afterward, Cynthia Reed Works took her children and moved to DeKalb, Ala. Lorraine Graham Maxey, who lived nearby, once wrote me that Nancy was buried there. Of course Lorraine is not around anymore. Believe John W. Works b. 1823 and (according to a rambling lawsuit filed by James Franklin Works against his brother John W.) d. between 1882 and before June 1883 may be buried in Hoyl Family cemetery. Can anyone verify this please? Ann
