The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Umfress of Fulton. PFC. Gray is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Gray of Fulton and is stationed at Camp Phillips, Kansas where they will make their home for the present. Miss Edith Louis Roberts to become bride Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Roberts are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Edith Louis Roberts to CPL. John D. Bethay of Dorsey, now stationed on Samoa Island in the Southwest Pacific. The wedding date to be announced later.
