    1. [MSITAWAM-L] Wright and Bruster/Brewster - 1880 and 1890 It. Co. MS
    2. I am looking for any data regarding the following people, in particular, a burial place and dates for Mary WRIGHT, b. 1823 in GA. Mary MAY be the sister of my Martha BANKSTON (who was living in District 4 near the FRIDAY and Floyd MARTIN households) in Itawamba Co. in 1880. An addenda - BANKSTON was misspelled as BAXTON by the census taker in 1880. If Mary is the sister of Martha BANKSTON then I have documentation showing their parents as Samuel HUEY and Sarah/Sally J. HAGINS HUEY and can share furtrher information. The 1880 Itawamba Co. census shows Mary BRUSTER age 38 b. GA; Martha BRUSTER age 15 AL; William BRUSTER age 12 AL; Boody (sic) BRUSTER age 6 MS; and Mary BRUSTER's mother Mary WRIGHT age 57 b. GA. The family lived in District 1. Next door lived Young BRUSTER age 19 b. AL, wife Conrd (sic) Ely age 20 b. AL and Mary age 1 b. MS. (The Lentz, Holley and Maxcey surnames also appear in Dist. 1). The Spring 2001 Itawamba Settlers 1890 Tax List shows: Mrs. M. (V.) BREWSTER, W.A. Brewster and Y.S. Brewster living in Bounds X Roads. I would certainly appreciate any help with these surnames. Thanks, Adrienne < yogagolf@aol.com>
