Would like information on the Richard Bowen family. He owned a store, probably in the Tilden community. Their daughter, Nora, married Ira Henderson. A Henderson relative sent me copies of pictures of the family. Mr. Jim Bowen lived in the house behind Wheeler's store when I was growing up. I think this is the same family. Any help would be appreciated. Mr. Jim and Mrs. Vona did not have any children. I think they are both buried in the Union Grove Cemetery. Carol Tucker Cantrell Starkville, MS

If you have any questions or anything else to add, I'd sure be happy to talk with you off-list. Thanks, dave webb CarolCant@aol.com wrote: > Would like information on the Richard Bowen family. Does anyone know what happened to Richard Bowen's daughter, Callie? She was born in 1883 in Ita. Co., and may have died in 1953 in Amory (not sure about that information). She married Roy R. Wax and had two daughters. One person thought that one daughter was named Sue (who married a Roberson man and lived around Tremont, with at least one child), and another told me that the daughters were Madge and Wilma. Never have been able to figure this one out. Any ideas? Dave Webb CarolCant@aol.com wrote: > Would like information on the Richard Bowen family. He owned a store, > probably in the Tilden community.
