Wayne, Thanks for these postings. They are a great source of items that add life to our genealogy. Is this newspaper available on-line? I remember as a young child that my Aunt had our visit posted in the newspaper's social section. Does anyone know where I could locate this type of article without going to MS? Barbara Tally Jones

The Itawamba County Times (formerly the Fulton News Beacon) is not available online. Whenever I have time, I visit the office in Fulton, MS and they let me photocopy articles from their archives. I am posting all articles online through this mailing list and also at the Itawamba Forum at: http://genforum.genealogy.com/ms/itawamba/ I would hope that others will do the same. If we continue posting all of our articles, we will eventually have a great resource for all of us to draw information from. Most of these articles have never been seen by people living outside the county, and have been long forgotten. Wayne
