Don - I have Mary Ann Whitesides as the youngest child of James Whitesides and Sarah Guyton. James and his brother Major Whitesides came to Mississippi from York County, South Carolina. There was another Whitesides (Wallace or Walice) that may be a cousin originally from North Carolina who may be in Itawamba county at this time. He disappears from North Carolina and the name reappears in Itawamba county about the same time James and Major arrive in Itawamba county. Mary Ann was born 3 - 28-1841 and died 3-14-1919. She was married to Alfred R. Roberts. No other dates. Jim Whiteside
