It seems that HENRY W. and ELIZABETH CHILDERS, my gggrandparents, disappeared into thin air after the 1850 Itawamba Co., MS., census. The only other record we have of him is a Bureau of Land Management record where HENRY and FRANCIS M. CHILDERS, possibly his father or a brother, purchased adjoining tracts of land in Noxubee County, MS., on February 27, 1840, Section 4, T15N, R15E. If any of these connect with other CHILDERS, would like to hear as we have not found hide nor hair of the above FRANCIS M. since 1840 and HENRY and ELIZABETH since 1850. Notes for HENRY W.
