Peggy, I don't know that this will help you or not but there were some Childer's /Childress in St. Francis Co., Arkansas. I have no idea where they were from but one married Ollie Brown in 1916 in St. Francis Co., Arkansas. Her parent's were from Itawamba Co., MS. I don't know if some of the Childer's came into Arkansas when that family came or not. Marilyn Dickson
