Unofficial Minutes of Itawamba Historical Society Meeting Date 6-19-2001 Overview of LINDSAY reunion that was held at the center in May. Speaker: Ailene Baily from the Daily Journal Newspaper She talked about articles she has written for the paper, including an ongoing series of articles titled "Houses with History." She has also written articles on the McFerrin Store and other historical buildings in Lee and Itawamba Counties. She needs ideals for stories and can be contacted at the Daily Journal. Copies of articles can be obtained through the Tupelo Library and from the Daily Journal if you have the date the story was published. There will be no meeting in July due to Joe Nell Wood (editor of IHS) having surgery near the date, and also because of revivals going on during the same week.
