Sorry Itawamba list, I thought my message would go to Don, personally. I did find some more information on the Camp family today. In the 1920 Census of Itawamba Co. MS Vol. 20, ED 16, Sheet 21, Line 14 Mantachie Pct. HH 244/260 Camp, William E. W 48 MS GA AL Bell wife 45 MS Charlie son 26 " Evert son 19 " Luther son 15 " Bonnie dau 10 " I think this is Charlie Barton Camp, the father of William Herman Camp, Sr. that was in the obit. In the Marriage soundex, I found: Will E. Camp married Bell D. Sheffield on ? 27 1898 (the microfilm was really hard to read). Book 10, page 487, Itawamba Co., MS Chas. B. Camp married Delphia Patterson, Oct. 10, 1925 (?) Book 16, p. 377 in Itawamba Co., MS So, I think this might be the connection. My Oswalts supposedly married a Sherrill, according to the marriage record, but a while back, I couldn't find her family, in Itawamba Co., but found some Sheffields living near the Oswalts, so I think now possibly she was a Sheffield, making this family related somehow. Still working on it. They are all buried in Stephens Cem. I got those dates too. Anyone else related to this family?
