    3. Mary, if you descend from Stokley Roberts, you must be working on the Spearman line. I'm researching Samuel Spearman's brother, Joshua R. Spearman. Do you know the parents of Elijah Spearman's wife, Sidney Cotton? I tried looking for them in Robertson Co., TN, but no luck. The Senia, wife of John Lochridge that died 12 Sep 1865 (they had 16 yrs, but she was abt. 46) that is buried in the Spearman Cemetery in Itawamba Co., is the daughter of Joshua Spearman.

    3. Hi Don, As you may know?? The Gillentine's intermingle with the Payne's several times. Anyway you were looking for info on Marietta Holms?? I guess you didn't know this because the marriage record says Holms, but she was a Kitchens and married a Holms. At least that is the info I have from someone in one of the families. Its funny that there is this about Gillentine's on the L-List, because I have been swamped with questions about the Gillentines the last week or so. There are some really interesting family stories out there about this family? Legend or true?? I don't know. Our Payne family Memorial is this Sunday and I have Gillentines that are not connected to Payne's except for the fact that my Uncle David (married to Aunt Daisy Payne Gillentine) is also their uncle, real uncle, he is my great uncle by marriage. But they ask if they could come to Memorial, so I invited them to come because Uncle David is their uncle and buried in the Family Cemetery. One is from PA the other from Como, MS, both raised in AR. Well that's just a little of what is going on. But I think as I was looking up more on the Gillentine's I found something on a census, but can't quite bring it to mind right now?? I got lots to do before this weekend but couldn't help adding this! 1. Re: [MSITAWAM-L] Viola Pritchett Gillentine d/o Netty Pritchett
    2. Does anyone know about the Pritchett family? A few years ago I ran across a court record that named Netty as having possible connections in a murder case, the man was convicted of his wife's murder. I can not find this record, could someone in the Ms. or Al. area look it up in court records? I have a picture of Netty and her brother "Doc" (Howard) Pritchett, I am not sure how to send it. Wanda
