That sounds like a goldmine! My relatives in the area were, Swinney, Rathell, Eubank, Grantham, Rhyne, Proctor (I have an obit on Wm. J. - very informative- but would love one on his wife Ann H. Young Proctor who died Jan 6, 1887. Our MS Archives did not have a paper for that year). Patricia, I have an ancestor Sara Jane Wolfe Eubank (1805-1884), wife of James Phillip Eubank. Someone recently shared info with me on her father George, a Rev. soldier. If this is your line, let me know and I will share. Thanks for your efforts to share this with us. Betty
Delta, Hey there....................if you learn anything about the Swinneys or Rhynes, please let me know. I still have no proof of John K. Swinney's parents, and in particular, his father. Hope all is well with you.
