Hi everyone, I have quite a few ancestors and relatives in Holmes County. If their last name is Barrett or Burwell they're my family. I have things like an old picture of the Lexington Bank at Christmas and pictures of family members from there. I remember going to the movies at this tiny lil building that had dirt floors! My late uncle's law office was near by. We used to love going to work with him because we'd get to go to the drugstore on the square. They made the most wonderful milk shakes! I also remember holding Payton Manning when he was about three months old. (Now that's a biggie :) Sorry about that, I'm way too wordy.:) Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi from Tennessee. If anyone ever needs Tennessee info I can more than likely find it or pass it to someone who might have it. I do the Rutherford County TNGenWeb site and a few other things.
