I am researching the Brown surname in Holmes Co. and the earliest Indication of my family is the 1860 Census with Andrew Jackson Brown head of a household, with wife Narcissa Catherine Grant and children. He married 3 times and had children from each marriage to total 13 children. Have found many descendants but know nothing much about him, or parents but one possible sibling mentioned in that census is Joseph (both born in Va.)
