I've been asking my Mom about each name that comes in. She knows the Edwards name but can't name one particular person. (That doesn't help you at all, though..) I'm starting with the Lexington page today and hope to get some real information. I wish I could sit down and just work till it's finished. I really want to do this correctly. I have my gggrandmother's old scrapbook and journal from the mid to late 1800s here and will be doing some neat things with old dance cards full of names, old school papers with girls' clips of curly hair and ribbons, etc. That is mostly Jefferson and some Adams Co material but it's really neat! Mari , My paternal ancestors were all residents of Lexington beginning in 1840 through 1880 , but the courthouse fire in 1883 has made Holmes Co research difficult. I would appreciate any reference you might run across naming GRIFFIN, BROWN , COURTS, GROVES , PARKER or DOUGLAS. Forgive me if I sound greedy, but this includes three generations , and anything to include in my family history would be great. Marietta Sexton
