Hi, Have you checked to see if there is a Congressional Register for that year? If you're not close to a library, let me know. On my next trip to Tupelo, I will check their volumes. I also had several senators/representatives in my ancestry. These annual type volumes help to give you a base for where to look, although mine were in the late 1800's to 1924. But I have also found that where ever they got the information some has been incorrect on one of my family members. So, we have to be very careful, even though it was from Congress. Also, have you checked the website that is called The Political Graveyard. Just put that in your search box and should come up. If it doesn't, do a google.com search for it.
