I'm not sure which way the lineage is but I think one of my Swinney family of Holmes Co., MS married into the Rhyne family. (The son or dau. was John K. Swinney's offspring). John K. Swinney was b. around 1811 in SC.......was in Holmes Co., MS by 1850). If it is of any importance to you, let me know and I will look through my records.
