I too am interested in these---my family (SUTTON) is mentioned in the book "Dummy lines......". During the mid and late 1800's it was said that between the father and the 2 sons they owned 3 saw mills. They were in Lawrence/Lincoln and Pike Counties. The Illinois Central Railroad had a stop at sone of them near the town of Thayer (near Bogue Chitto) and the stop was called "Sutton's Switch". Kathy (SUTTON) Diaz
