Clay, Greetings from Seattle. Your book "Dummy lines Through the Longleaf" as related to SW Missippi is an odd title. Longleaf pine is not native to SW Mississippi, but rather in SE Mississippi around Hattiesburg. Growing up in Franklin County, I never saw a longleaf tree in our area. Forest and Jones counties were abundant in longleaf. Fulton Harrigill Clay Aldridge wrote: > > I have a book called 'Dummy Lines Through the Longleaf'.. Of course, you are correct. but, that is what it says, and it does deal more with the areas of east Franklin on to the east. ----- Original Message ----- From: Fulton Harrigill <fultonh@halcyon.com> To: <MSFRANKL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, December 23, 2000 10:44 PM Subject: Re: [MSFRANKL-L] Logging railroads > Clay, > > Greetings from Seattle. > > Your book "Dummy lines Through the Longleaf" as related to SW Missippi > is an odd title.
