My name is Elizabeth Proby and I'm looking for the link to an ancestor. His name was William Proby and he was born in Virginia in 1784. He moved to Franklin County with his wife Nancy Mcleod and lived until his death in 1849. My family and I are looking for our link to the family in England, the original Proby's that started in the 1400's.
