What I posted before is about all I know of my great grandfather. His name was James Alva Lee and his family moved to San Jacinto County TX when he was still a child. I have been unable to find anything at all on him except for an 1880 census which has him and his wife and some of his children. Do you know the middle name of your James? Or middle initial?
