Since Elizabeth was born about 1810, I think that she must have been the sister of Joseph Samuel Carlock. But when I try to find her listed as a sibling of his, I have no luck. Maybe she is a cousin. Many Carlocks have been traced for many years, but Elizabeth is never listed as a child of any of those that are documented. Nor have I been able to find a definitive record of birth or of death dates for Elizabeth. Oh well, the hunt is as gratifying as the find. (Well...Almost).
