Cupit, wrote this book. I remember reading parts of it when I was a wee child. He had been the mayor of Rosepine, LA. He died in his 90's. His son, my Granddad, was John Charles Cupit and he married my Grandmother, Kitty McDonald. They lived in Beaumont, Texas. They had one son, my father William G. Cupit. He married Charla L. Mouton in Port Arthur, Texas,and they had three children - Cynthia (me), Denise, and John. We were raised in Waianae, Hawaii. My father has the book. As the oldest child, it will probably be passed on to me. I also kept the name Cupit as my middle name when I got married. My Granddad was a great man with the patience of Job.
