Thank you Ann for the great resource, These are the Cook names belonging to our Line in your "C-List". COOK, Able to PATTERSON, Rebecca, 1816-Dec-05 COOK, Mrs Harriet to HAWTHORNE, Peter, 1826-Mar-19 *I added the Mrs** Harriet was the 2nd wife of Able Cook (date Unkn) We suspect she married her brother in-law the widow of Able's sister Margaret (Cook) Hawthorne. COOK, David to SCARBOROUGH, Elizabeth, 1821-Feb-22 Able, David and Margaret Cook were Children of James and Margaret (Hawthorne) Cook. James Cook died, about 1812 in Jefferson Co., MS, (that is date and location his Will) COOK, Louisa Josephine to GOODSON, William, 1861-Mar-20 Not sure if Louisa Cook is from our Line, but am sure that William Goodson is part of the Benjamin Goodson's that arrived in the Jefferson/Franklin Counties area at the same time, Benjamin traveled on to LA, many of his children stayed in MS. My GGGrandparents "Henry & Mary Polly (Goodson) Cook married in Franklin Co., MS on 8 January 1825 and moved to TX by 1832; Henry was the youngest son of James and Margaret Cook. Mary Polly was next to youngest daughter of Benjamin Goodson. Thank you so much for taking the time to check. I found this family on the Attla Co census for 1850 with Wm B being 5 and Rufus being 6/12. On that census it was showing Mary J and George both 11. I am fairly new in checking census records and have so much to learn. Thank you for giving me the June date. That helped clear up their youngest child Sarah who is the one my husband descends from. Delores Census shows them both clearly to be age 11. The date was 16 of August. Their ages were supposed to be listed as if it was June 1. If they wee born less than a year apart, it would be possible for them both to be 11 at some point in the year, depending on when their birth dates were.
