    3. Think Cassandra O'Neal was the widow of Tyre O'Neal. At the time of the 1850 Franklin County census she was shown in House 376 as 56 years old and from GA. She had a son aged 16 born in MS, and John S. Brunson aged 63 was shown in the household as an overseer. He was from PA. No Jane is shown. There was a Jane Parker next door in House 377 who was 60 and from SC she m/1 Lewis Magee in 1815, and she m/2 Joel Parker in 1831.

We will be stopping at Memphis, Jackson, and Brookhaven. From these stops, we will be researching 14 Mississippi counties -- 7 of her counties and 7 of mine. We are renting a car at each AMTRAK stop researching in the courthouse and staying at a hotel, then getting back on the train. Our trip will be 15 days. We will be in Brookhaven (going out to Franklin, Amite, and Jefferson counties from May 21 through 24. We are booked in the Comfort Inn in downtown Brookhaven.
