Graves was a Presbyterian Minister and founded Zion Seminary Academy c. 1840 in Covington Co. I believe he was b. 1809 in Saratoga, NY and was the uncle of Mary Sophia Graves, a teacher at the academy. Dr. Graves may have been Amos Graves but can't be sure. Seeking info on Dr. Graves and niece, Mary Sophia Graves esp descendents and parents of Dr. Graves and parents of Mary Sophia. Mary Sophia Graves married a John Wesley Huffman of Pike Co.
