I am looking for info on Seaborne Kingston Miller and his descendants. He and his wife Celetia had 14 live births between 1837-1864. I am hoping some husbands & wives of the Miller-kids will have descendants who see this post and can help me out. ANYTHING ON SEABORNE/ SEBRON or his wife CELETIA/ SALLETA HERRINGTON MILLER (or his slaves or legal documents as he was prosperous, a civil war vet and living in Mississippi)would be appreciated. I believe Seaborn/Sebron Kingston Miller's parents were Elizabeth Warren and James Miller. Stapp Vernon Terrell Miller b April 27 1857 married Amanda Bass his brother Samuel Miller b21 Aug 1824 married Amanda's sister Sarah Serena Bass and had at least one daughter: May Miller. SUSAN MELVINA MILLER (aka Melvina)b12 July 1846 married WILLIAM SMITH b10 Oct1850. They had 9 births including: Wade Hampton, Keffmiller, Edna, Bessie, James M., William Edgar, Oliver Clifton, and Nancy Celetia Smith. John William Miller b 2 Jan 1847 married Martha A. Luper JOSEPH N. MILLER b 2 Nov 1852 married Amanda E. Redman JAMES SEBRON MILLER b 22 May 1854 ?? ANGELINA LOUEELA MILLER b27 April 1855 married Carry D Sanford and had at least 4 children: Archie, Miller,Margaret, and Mary Sanford. Angelina and her sister NOLLY married Sanford brothers in ceremonies just days apart. Vernon Terrell see above AMICON A MILLER (aka A.C. MILLER?)b20 Feb 1859 married Evie Luper b 1858 (descendant Horace Leether Miller is name on some documents I have) SEBRON DAVE MILLER b 17 Sept 1860 d1924 m? children include Leether Horace Miller NOLLY S. MILLER b 11 July 1864. married Jefferson SANFORD,the brother of Mr Carry Sanford, Angelina Miller Sanford's husband. NOLLY and JEFFERSON SANFORD had at least 7 children including Margaret, Edna E., Jesse D., William J., Nollie E., Edie M.,and James B. Sanford. I have stories of how Sebron was able to avoid injury in Civil War and yet managed to die in a terrible hailstorm less than a year after returning home from war. Also their is story about Joe Miller and Amanda Redman and a true tragedy about how the mother matriarch passed away along with a sister and a daughter & grandchildren in a flood or storm. Does anyone know these stories or have these ancestors? Let me know WHO CONNECTS HOW TO WHO and what ya have and what ya need. I will be glad to dig up docs and verify dates and family tales.
