I have a James Stewart, age 29, living with Jane Stewart, age 50, on the 1850 Covington Census. Also living in the house is John Rutland, age 22. Some researchers say Asa and Catherine Rutland had a daughter, Jane, who married a Stewart and died before 1850. Ii'm not sure if Jane Stewart was a Rutland and a sister to Asa, or who she was, but it does seem likely. Sorry, there is no middle initial for James Stewart. Loretta
