Recently she recalled a grandfather that was a sheriff in Covington County and was killed early in life. She mentioned that it was in the Collins newspaper. I've located a Jr. Webster (Dec. 24, 1852 - Aug. 15, 1891) that married Martha Rosa. Both are buried in the Old Williamsburg/General Cemetery of Covington County. A Cemetery Census book for this county stated Jr. Webster was an ex-sheriff. Mattie's father was Daniel Archie Webster and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Williams.
