Smith and family in Covington County. He married Elizabeth Bryant sometime before 1870. They lived in or near Hattiesburg. My great-great grandfather was Willis Vernon Smith. He and a sister named Eliza lived with relatives in the same vicinity after most of the family died in route to Texas between 1875 and 1880. I've located them in the 1870 census but I'm not having much luck beyond that. Any info is appreciated.
