Dec 27, 1877 is buried in the Aultman Cemetery in Covinton County, MS. You go about 12 miles south of Collins, on Hwy 49, turn right just opposite the Sanford road. Then take the second left, and remain on this main road for about 5 miles. The cemetery will be found on the left and can be seen from the road in the Aultman settlement. I have not been there, but my brother has. Also buried there is Juda Aultman b. March 22, 1824/d. Mar 3(2)0, 1900, and Cullen Aultman b. 1820/ d. Feb. 28, 1894.These are other children of Thomas Aultman and Amy Watts. I understand that Thomas and wife are buried in unmarked graves along the Bouie River.

Robert was born April 25, 1852. In 1870 Census in Louisiana, Nathan and Dicey are there with all children except Robert. I am trying to find out what happened to Robert and his descendants.

Rutland married Mary Elizabeth Chain, daughter of William and Melinda Pickering Chain, about 1845. William's sister, Susan, married Mary Elizabeth's brother, James Chain. Mary Ann Rutland, another sister, married James Dykes. A nephew, Daniel Archie Rutland, married Charity Chain, daughter of Joseph Chain and Harriet Dykes. I THINK My information is from a Rutland descendant chart and the only thing I am certain of is that several members of the Rutland, Dykes, and Chain families are buried in the Rutland cemetery a few miles from Mt. According to the 1818 Mississippi census James Miller had three children(Lawrence Co.). The 1920 U.S. Census showed four children (Covington Co.). The four children were: Seaborn Kingston born 14 Feb 1814; Josiah born ca 1815; Mary "Polly" born ca 1817 and Henry born ca 1819. Seaborn married Celitia Herrington; Josiah married Patience Smith; Mary married William S. Terrell and Henry married Mary.

Sarah is buried beside her daughter who married a Price some distance away from the cemtery where her husband is buried. I suspect she was probally living with the daughter when she died.

I have copies of my grandfathers' bible which list his father: William F. Miller and mother: Elizabeth Roe Carter. the children listed are: Redman S., Mary Melvina, Amanda Levicy, Margaret Joseline, William Robert and Missouri Maggifien. My aunts family bible shows that Redman married Dicy Dyess; Mary married James Polk, Amanda married Allen McPhail, Margaret married John gandy; William married Anner Tyrone and Missouri married Albert King. I do not know who the father of Missouri butit was not William F. Miller who was dead in July 1863 according to church records. William R. Miller, my grandfather who was born in Sept 1862, never saw his father. Hope this will help.

I believe the Millers stayed in Covington Co., Miss. My Rebecca (her daughter) married Marvel Stone and they were in Hinds Co., Miss. by 1828. I know that some of the family went to Smith Co., Miss. also. As far as dates, I'll have to check on that.
