The room is large, and set up nicely with several large tables for doing research, and all are completely accessable. I never saw the basement or third floor of the old building, so I do not have anything to compare to, but it appears to be a very nice setup to me. An Historical Society could do a tremendous service, as many of the books do not have an index. That would make a great project for such a society of volunteers. Larry
The DAR long time ago, did copy some records, from there, Mrs. Cook I think, is who I remember. I see her names on some of the Cemeteries in copiah county.
